Rice Passions
About This Spot
Rice Passions invites you into a warm, inviting corner of Revere where the rhythms of a neighborhood spot blend with the bright, comforting flavors of Thailand. From the moment you step inside, there’s a gentle bustle that feels just right—relaxed yet purposeful, like a place where people come together to savor both familiar favorites and thoughtful surprises.
The atmosphere strikes a balance between casual ease and subtle attentiveness. It’s the kind of kitchen table energy where servers move with a friendly confidence, offering recommendations that feel like sharing treasured family secrets rather than scripted suggestions. Whether you’ve popped in on a quiet afternoon or to share a meal on a rain-soaked day, the space feels like a brief, satisfying pause from the rush outside.
What makes the experience here quietly special is how the food unfolds like a comforting conversation. Imagine the bright zip of herbal green curry mingling with the soothing warmth of coconut milk; or the playful, vibrant hues of butterfly pea lemonade offering more than just refreshment, but a moment of pause. There’s a natural harmony in the way flavors balance — from the gentle spice in a Panang curry to the subtle sweet finish of mango paired with sticky rice. Each dish carries a sense of care and story, making every bite feel like a delicate discovery rather than just another menu item.
This is a place where familiar dishes—like noodle soups or fresh basil rolls—come with a fresh attention to detail and a hint of the unexpected. The pace of service complements the overall mood: steady and thoughtful, allowing each person at the table to settle in and soak up flavors at their own rhythm. The presence of well-chosen drinks, like the creamy-strong Thai iced tea or a skillfully made lychee martini, rounds out the experience, giving just the right lift to the meal.
Rice Passions feels like a culinary neighborhood nook where the food warms your spirit and the hospitality quietly makes you feel remembered. It’s less about ceremony and more about genuine enjoyment—a spot that locals might cherish for its balance of comfort and lively authenticity, tucked just steps away from the familiar streets of Revere.

Stopped in for lunch with my family, it was a rainy day so it was a little slow but it worked out great for us. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls and pork buns to start and they came out quickly and everything was delicious. We also ordered two noodle dishes - one with Kra Pro chicken and another with shrimp and it was tasty. Our server was pleasant and made sure we were satisfied with our meal. I would love to visit again for lunch or dinner.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! ID SELL MY FIRST BORN FOR A CURRY HERE. Nicest curry I've ever had in my entire life, I let out sweet tears when the sauce touched my lips. God bless

Don’t usually go out of my way to leave a review. This place is amazing, our server was friendly and recommended their lunch special. For around $15 you’ll get an appetizer, a really good size lunch and a drink. Our group had a chicken salad, pad Thai and a chicken fried rice. For drinks you should try the Thai iced tea! Can’t believe this place isn’t packed for lunch time.

I got the panang curry with crispy chicken. It was pretty tasty and would get again. Probably could have gone for 5/5 spice since 4/5 wasn't that spicy. Chicken satay was juicy and way better than other ones I've had.

I had the Pad Thai dish. It lacked flavor as compared to other Thai restaurants. Also, it was quite salty too. It probably droned out the taste. We were the only diners about 6:30pm on a Thursday. A lot people ordered take-outs though. Parking is a bit tough. We parked at next door restaurant.

Rice passions is a staple for the community! The food here is so yummy. There’s always somebody coming to pick up takeout or deliver. Uber eats. I knew that was a great sign. The service was superb. They were really kind and attentive. This place should be packed every day all day, given the quality of their food. We had the basil rice with chicken, the lo mein with beef and fried ice cream with sticky rice and mango for dessert. We really enjoyed our night out because of the warm atmosphere and again the service was amazing. Their playlist was top-tier. We were dancing and singing along the whole night. Highly recommend!
